Radiation Therapist - Cancer Treatment Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments with precision and accuracy
• Perform patient localization procedures and treatment planning
• Operate advanced linear accelerators and simulator equipment
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
• Document treatments using electronic health records (EHR)
• Participate in quality assurance procedures and safety protocols
• Mentor new team members and contribute to student education
• Fabricate custom blocks and perform basic dosimetry calculations

Required Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Proficiency in EHR systems and treatment planning software
• Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
• Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care
• Physical ability to assist with patient positioning and equipment operation
