Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Emergency Department | Leadership Opportunity

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) in our Emergency Department. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll guide clinical operations, mentor staff, and ensure exceptional patient care delivery in a fast-paced Level II Trauma Center.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate daily emergency department operations, ensuring optimal patient flow and care delivery
• Supervise clinical staff while maintaining accountability for department performance metrics
• Implement and monitor evidence-based clinical practices and quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute comprehensive patient care plans
• Provide clinical expertise and mentorship to nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
• Drive patient satisfaction initiatives through leadership and example

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in Tennessee or compact state
• Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
• 3+ years RN experience (ICU or Psychiatric experience considered)
• Minimum 1 year Emergency Department experience
• ACLS and PALS certification (or obtain within 1 year)
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification (or obtain within 6 months)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Trauma nursing experience
• Previous Charge Nurse experience
• Emergency Nursing Certification (CEN)
