Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Telemetry)
We're seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to join our dynamic Progressive Care Unit team. In this leadership role, you'll oversee a 25-bed unit specializing in cardiac care, stroke management, and critical care transitions, while working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate patient care delivery in a high-acuity Progressive Care/Telemetry setting
- Supervise complex medication administration, including cardiac drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin)
- Manage patient care for conditions including chest pain, CVA/TIA, sepsis, and hypertensive urgency
- Oversee staff scheduling and provide clinical leadership during shifts
- Facilitate seamless admission and discharge processes
- Deliver staff education and performance coaching
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Proven Charge Nurse experience
- BCLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- ACLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- NIHSS Stroke Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong clinical experience in Progressive Care or Telemetry nursing
