Emergency Department Nurse Manager - Level I Trauma Center

Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Emergency Department (ED) Nurse Manager at our state-of-the-art facility in Tennessee. We're seeking an experienced nursing leader to oversee our fast-paced emergency department, managing a team of 45 direct reports and 64 total FTEs while delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a high-performing emergency nursing team of 45+ healthcare professionals
• Implement and maintain evidence-based clinical practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes
• Drive operational excellence through effective staffing management and workflow optimization
• Oversee patient care delivery and ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations
• Manage departmental budget, resources, and performance metrics
• Foster collaborative relationships with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders
• Handle conflict resolution and address patient/family concerns professionally
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for staff

Required Qualifications:

• Current Tennessee RN license or compact state licensure
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department clinical experience
• 1-3 years of demonstrable clinical leadership experience
• BCLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in staff development and performance management
