Position Overview
As the Director of Nursing for Long-Term Care, you will provide strategic leadership and clinical expertise to ensure exceptional resident care while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop nursing staff while establishing clinical best practices and quality standards
- Oversee MDS process and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Manage departmental budget and staffing resources
- Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive resident care
- Drive staff education and professional development programs
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia or eligible for licensure
- 3+ years of management experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
- Current BLS CPR certification
- Experience with MDS process and documentation
- Strong understanding of state and federal regulations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
