Clinical Nurse Manager - Behavioral Health Unit

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our Behavioral Health Unit. This leadership position combines clinical expertise with management responsibilities, overseeing daily operations while ensuring exceptional patient care standards.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a dedicated team of behavioral health professionals
  • Oversee clinical operations, including patient care quality, staffing, and scheduling
  • Drive continuous improvement in patient care outcomes and satisfaction metrics
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive treatment plans
  • Manage staff development, including education programs and competency assessments
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies
  • Serve as backup to Program Director and liaison with Director of Nursing
  • Implement evidence-based behavioral health practices and protocols

Required Qualifications:

  • Current RN license required
  • BSN required, MSN preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of inpatient behavioral health nursing experience
  • Proven leadership experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Current BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days)
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification (or obtained within 30 days)
  • Strong clinical assessment and crisis management skills
  • Excellence in communication and team leadership
