Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse - Level III | Cardiac Surgery Specialist

Join our prestigious surgical team as a CVOR Registered Nurse, where you'll play a vital role in life-saving cardiac procedures. We're seeking an experienced RN who combines clinical excellence with leadership capabilities to provide exceptional patient care in our state-of-the-art cardiovascular operating rooms.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead complex cardiac surgical procedures as primary circulator or scrub nurse
• Maintain strict sterile technique and manage surgical equipment
• Coordinate with surgical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor and document patient status throughout perioperative phases
• Manage surgical counts and specimen handling
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to team members
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committee work
• Cross-train in non-cardiac specialties as needed

Required Qualifications:

• BSN required, MSN preferred
• Current RN license in Virginia (multi-state or single-state)
• Minimum 3 years (5,616 hours) of RN experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA Healthcare Provider)
• Cardiac surgery experience strongly preferred
• Advanced cardiac life support certification preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs
