Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Operating Room Specialist

Core Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain sterile field during surgical procedures
• Anticipate surgeon's needs and assist during operations
• Ensure proper handling and care of surgical instruments and equipment
• Maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures
• Monitor and maintain surgical supply inventory
• Collaborate with perioperative team members to ensure patient safety
• Assist in room turnover and preparation between cases

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Current State Board certification as a Surgical Technologist
• Valid BLS Certification from American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move equipment
