Blood Cancer Unit Nurse Manager - Oncology Leadership Opportunity

Core Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee all departmental operations aligned with hospital mission and strategic goals
  • Develop and implement cost-effective systems and processes for the Blood Cancer and Stem Cell Unit
  • Lead and mentor clinical staff while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Analyze customer satisfaction data and implement quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve facility objectives and enhance patient outcomes
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders including physicians, staff, patients, and vendors
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and healthcare standards

Required Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's degree preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years recent acute care leadership experience in Blood Cancer Unit
  • BLS certification (current)
  • ACLS certification (required within 12 months of hire)
  • Strong clinical knowledge of oncology and stem cell treatment protocols
  • Demonstrated leadership and staff development abilities
