Clinical Nurse Manager - Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a high-performing L&D nursing team while maintaining 24/7 accountability for unit operations
• Drive evidence-based nursing practices and quality improvement initiatives
• Manage departmental budget and resources to optimize operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital protocols
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance patient care delivery
• Foster a culture of clinical excellence and patient safety
• Oversee staff development, performance evaluation, and succession planning
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications:

• Current Texas RN license or compact license required
• BSN required; MSN preferred
• Minimum 2 years recent L&D leadership experience
• Progressive leadership experience strongly preferred
• National Specialty Certification required (or obtained within first year)
• Current BLS/ACLS certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
