Director of Women's & Children's Services - Labor & Delivery Unit

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of nursing professionals in Labor & Delivery services
• Drive clinical excellence through implementation of evidence-based practices and quality initiatives
• Oversee departmental operations, including budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accreditation standards
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance patient experience and outcomes
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and communication across departments
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators for quality, safety, and patient satisfaction
• Manage patient flow and capacity planning to optimize unit efficiency

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license in state of practice or compact license
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 1 year leadership experience in healthcare
• Strong knowledge of maternal/child health services

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration
• ACLS Certification
• NRP and FHM Certifications
• RNC-OB Certification
• 3+ years of L&D nursing experience
