Clinical Emergency Department Nurse Coordinator - Leadership Role

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate emergency department patient care delivery and staff operations
• Drive clinical excellence through multidisciplinary team collaboration
• Oversee patient flow management, including admissions and discharges
• Mentor and develop nursing staff through education and performance coaching
• Implement quality improvement initiatives and best practices
• Manage staff scheduling and resource allocation
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies

Required Qualifications:

• Current Texas RN license or compact license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• 1-2 years recent ED Charge Nurse experience within the last year
• Current ACLS certification
• Ability to obtain BCLS within 30 days of hire
• Commitment to obtain ENPC within 18 months
• Current PALS certification
• Willingness to obtain TNCC within 18 months
