Director of Surgical Services & Perioperative Operations

We're seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Surgical Services to lead our state-of-the-art perioperative department at our award-winning hospital. Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic oversight and 24/7 leadership for all perioperative services and operations
• Drive quality patient care initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Develop and implement evidence-based practices to enhance surgical outcomes
• Lead performance improvement programs and monitor critical aspects of care
• Mentor and develop staff through coaching, feedback, and performance management
• Build and maintain strong cross-departmental relationships

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Current RN licensure in state of practice
• 3+ years of perioperative leadership experience
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (Joint Commission, CMS)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration
• CNOR certification
• CSSM certification
• Experience with electronic health records and surgical scheduling systems
