Mother/Baby Unit Nurse Manager - Women's Health Leadership Opportunity

Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all clinical and operational aspects of the Mother/Baby Unit and Newborn Nursery
- Drive quality initiatives and process improvements in maternal and newborn care
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and development of nursing personnel
- Oversee departmental budget, resources, and strategic planning
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and nursing standards of care
- Foster collaborative relationships with physicians, staff, and interdisciplinary teams
- Develop and implement evidence-based practices in postpartum and newborn care
- Champion patient safety and quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- BSN required; MSN preferred
- Current Texas RN license or compact license
- 5 years recent acute care experience (2 years considered with supervisory experience)
- Current BLS certification and NRP certification
- Demonstrated leadership experience in Mother/Baby or Women's Health
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with quality metrics and process improvement
