Clinical Nurse Manager - Labor & Delivery Unit

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing nursing team in delivering patient-centered care
  • Implement and maintain evidence-based clinical practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes
  • Drive operational excellence through efficient staff scheduling, resource management, and workflow optimization
  • Oversee quality metrics, regulatory compliance, and accreditation standards
  • Manage unit budget and resource allocation effectively
  • Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
  • Drive continuous improvement in patient satisfaction and experience
  • Ensure proper maintenance of medical equipment and adherence to safety protocols
  • Optimize patient throughput while maintaining high-quality care standards

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Current RN licensure in Texas or eligible for compact licensure
  • Minimum 1 year leadership experience in healthcare
  • BLS certification required
  • Strong clinical and operational management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • RNC-OB certification
  • ACLS certification
  • NRP certification
  • Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
  • Previous Labor & Delivery experience
