Clinical Night Shift Pharmacist - Hospital Setting

Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage overnight pharmacy operations across multiple locations including central pharmacy, admixture center, and cardiovascular tower satellite
- Provide expert pharmacokinetic consultations and clinical pharmacy services
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide code coverage
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and nursing staff for medication-related inquiries
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety protocols
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff during night shift operations
Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an ACPE-accredited institution
- Current Virginia pharmacist license or eligibility for licensure within 90 days of hire
- Strong clinical decision-making and analytical skills
- Excellence in communication and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in time management and multitasking
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency completion
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience
- Critical care or emergency medicine experience
