Clinical Nursing Manager - Critical Care Unit

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Nursing Manager to lead our Critical Care Unit. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight while ensuring excellence in patient care delivery and staff development. Core Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of critical care nurses while maintaining 24-hour accountability for unit operations
• Drive clinical excellence through implementation and monitoring of evidence-based practices and quality measures
• Oversee fiscal management, staffing, risk management, and operational functions
• Contribute to strategic planning and program development initiatives
• Ensure compliance with core measures and national healthcare standards
• Implement and monitor patient safety protocols including VAP prevention, wound care management, and fall prevention
• Optimize clinical outcomes through quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• Current Kansas RN License
• BSN required (or commitment to obtain within specified timeframe)
• Minimum 3 years of critical care nursing experience (ICU, PACU, OR, ED)
• Demonstrated leadership experience (Charge Nurse experience considered)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong clinical competencies in EKG interpretation, ventilator management, and critical care procedures
• Proficiency in healthcare information systems and electronic documentation
