Clinical Nursing Manager - Medical Telemetry Unit

Position Overview

As the Medical Telemetry Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensure clinical excellence, and lead a dedicated team of healthcare professionals while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of nursing professionals, fostering a culture of clinical excellence and continuous improvement
• Drive implementation of evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to maintain optimal unit operations
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care delivery, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient experience and satisfaction
• Manage departmental budget and resources while identifying cost optimization opportunities
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve organizational goals and quality benchmarks

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice or active compact license
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience
• 2+ years of recent acute care leadership experience within the last year (CNS, House Supervisor, or Charge Nurse experience accepted)
• BCLS certification required at hire
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of employment
• Strong clinical knowledge and leadership abilities
• Excellence in communication and interpersonal skills
