Unit Overview
- Modern 36-bed cardiac specialty unit with state-of-the-art monitoring equipment
- Favorable nurse-to-patient ratios: 4:1 - 5:1 (Day Shift), 5:1 - 6:1 (Night Shift)
- Dedicated tech support on each hall
- Level II Trauma Center affiliation

Core Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze cardiac rhythms, interpret ECGs, and respond to arrhythmias
- Provide specialized care for diverse cardiac conditions including chest pain, stroke, and accelerated heart rhythm
- Manage critical care patients requiring cardiac drips and post-operative monitoring
- Coordinate therapeutic interventions and administrative services
- Deliver age-appropriate care for patients 16 and older
- Implement risk management and safety protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license from Missouri State Board of Nursing or Multistate Compact license
- Minimum 1 year acute care RN experience
- Nursing degree (Diploma, ADN, or BSN)
- Current BLS certification
- Commitment to obtain ACLS certification within first year
