• Modern 36-bed cardiac specialty unit with state-of-the-art monitoring equipment
• Favorable nurse-to-patient ratios: 4:1 - 5:1 (Day Shift), 5:1 - 6:1 (Night Shift)

Core Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze cardiac rhythms, interpret ECGs, and respond to arrhythmias
• Provide specialized care for diverse cardiac conditions including chest pain, stroke, and accelerated heart rhythm
• Manage critical care patients requiring cardiac drips and post-operative monitoring
• Coordinate therapeutic interventions and administrative services
• Deliver age-appropriate care for patients 16 and older
• Implement risk management and safety protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license from Missouri State Board of Nursing or Multistate Compact license
• Minimum 1 year acute care RN experience
• Nursing degree (Diploma, ADN, or BSN)
• Current BLS certification
• Commitment to obtain ACLS certification within first year
