Senior Cardiovascular Catheterization Laboratory Technologist
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Senior Cath Lab Technologist where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional cardiovascular care. We're seeking an experienced professional to support our state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization laboratory, performing advanced cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute complex cardiac procedures including catheterizations, coronary interventions, and structural heart procedures (LAAC, TAVR)
- Perform EP device implementations, ablation therapies, and interventional radiology procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and assist in emergency situations during procedures
- Maintain sterile field and assist physicians during procedures
- Coordinate patient care from transport through recovery
- Document procedures and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams using SBAR communication protocols
- Train and mentor new team members
Required Qualifications:
- Current ARRT and/or RCIS certification
- 4+ years of Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience
- Proven experience in scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating
- Current BLS certification (American Red Cross or AHA)
- ACLS certification (required within 6 months of hire)
- Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy
- Excellent stress management and organizational skills
