Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Registered Nurse - Interventional Cardiology

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with complex cardiac procedures including catheterizations, coronary interventions, EP device implantation, and structural heart procedures (LAAC, TAVR)
• Execute interventional radiology, neuro-diagnostic interventions, and endovascular procedures with precision and expertise
• Coordinate patient care throughout procedures, from transport and preparation to monitoring and recovery
• Manage emergency cases with confidence while maintaining composure under pressure
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain detailed patient records using electronic health systems
• Foster effective team communication using SBAR methodology for seamless care transitions
• Mentor new team members and contribute to a collaborative learning environment

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
• Associates Degree in Nursing required (BSN preferred)
• 2-3 years of Cath Lab experience (Critical Care/ER experience valued)
• Current BLS/BCLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross
• Current ACLS certification
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
• Excellence in multitasking and stress management
