Senior Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Acute Care Specialist

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive respiratory care procedures ranging from routine to complex interventions
  • Manage and operate acute care ventilators for both short and long-term mechanical ventilation
  • Provide independent clinical assessment and treatment decisions during off-hours
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Respond to emergency situations and participate in rapid response teams

Required Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • Associate's Degree from an AMA-approved respiratory care program
  • Minimum 1 year of acute care respiratory therapy experience
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Florida state license or willingness to obtain
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
