Senior Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Acute Care

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory care services to patients of all age groups
• Manage and operate advanced acute care ventilators for both short and long-term mechanical ventilation
• Implement complex respiratory therapy procedures following established protocols
• Perform independent clinical assessments and modify treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• Current Florida RRT license or eligible for state licensure
• Minimum 1 year of acute care RRT experience
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Strong knowledge of mechanical ventilation and respiratory care protocols
• Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in EMR systems and medical documentation
