Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Critical Care Specialist

We're seeking an experienced respiratory care professional to provide exceptional patient care in our state-of-the-art acute care facility. Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver and manage complex respiratory care treatments including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and aerosol treatments
• Perform and interpret Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) analyses
• Monitor patient responses and medication effects in respiratory care treatments
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and modify patient care plans
• Provide patient education and family support regarding respiratory care procedures
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment including ventilators and oxygen delivery systems
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records
• Identify and report cases of patient abuse or neglect according to protocol

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year acute care experience in ICU, CVICU, NICU, PICU, or Critical Care settings
• Active Florida State Respiratory License
• NBRC RRT/CRT certification
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to obtain ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications within 30 days of employment
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
