ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care Unit

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive critical care nursing services in a fast-paced ICU environment
• Perform complex patient assessments and implement appropriate treatment plans
• Serve as a patient and family advocate while maintaining strict privacy protocols
• Provide detailed patient/family education regarding medications and treatment procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments and interventions
• Document patient care using electronic medical record systems

Required Qualifications:

• Current Florida RN license or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSN degree
• Current ACLS certification (required within 6 months of hire)
• CCRN certification (required within 2 years)
• NIHSS stroke certification (required within 30 days)
• Previous ICU experience
