ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care Unit

Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive critical care nursing services in a fast-paced ICU environment
- Perform complex patient assessments and implement appropriate treatment plans
- Serve as a patient and family advocate while maintaining strict privacy protocols
- Provide detailed patient/family education regarding medications and treatment procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments and interventions
- Document patient care using electronic medical record systems
Required Qualifications:
- Current Florida RN license or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN degree
- Current ACLS certification (required within 6 months of hire)
- CCRN certification (required within 2 years)
- NIHSS stroke certification (required within 30 days)
- Previous ICU experience
