Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care

Core Responsibilities:

- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols

- Provide patient and family education regarding treatments, medications, and post-discharge care
- Implement evidence-based nursing practices and safety protocols
- Manage medical equipment and supplies efficiently
- Serve as a patient advocate within the healthcare team
Required Qualifications:
- Current Florida RN license or multi-state license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current BLS certification (AHA Healthcare Provider)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Additional Requirements:
- NIH Stroke Scale certification (must be obtained within 30 days of employment)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (must be obtained within 30 days of employment)
