Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Operating Room

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced scrub duties during diverse surgical procedures
• Maintain strict sterile technique protocols and manage surgical instruments and supplies
• Anticipate surgeon needs and ensure smooth procedural flow
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure patient safety and optimal care
• Prepare and maintain operating room environment, including setup and turnover
• Assist in tracking surgical supplies and maintaining inventory

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
• 2+ years of surgical technologist experience strongly preferred
• Acute care experience highly valued (minimum 1 year preferred)
• Vocational/Technical school degree in Surgical Technology
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (must obtain within 30 days of hire)
• Strong understanding of surgical procedures and sterile technique
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
