CVICU Nursing Manager - Clinical Leadership Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing CVICU nursing team while ensuring exceptional patient care standards
- Drive implementation of evidence-based clinical practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes
- Oversee daily unit operations, including staff scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accreditation standards
- Facilitate effective interdisciplinary collaboration and care coordination
- Monitor and optimize patient throughput and care delivery processes
- Champion continuous quality improvement initiatives and best practices
- Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and clinical excellence
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent CVICU leadership experience
- 3-5 years of clinical CVICU staff nursing experience
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current BCLS certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Current ACLS certification (or obtain within 6 months)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- PALS certification (or obtain within 60 months)
