Senior Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Critical Care Specialist

Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead and perform comprehensive patient respiratory assessments, including breath sounds evaluation, airway management, and ventilation monitoring
- Implement and manage both invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation protocols
- Deliver and monitor therapeutic interventions including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
- Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate respiratory therapy effectiveness
- Collaborate with the healthcare team in emergency response situations
- Manage the safe transportation of ventilator-dependent patients
- Maintain detailed patient care documentation and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
Required Qualifications:
- Current State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
- 5+ years of respiratory therapy experience (acute care, LTAC, or similar settings)
- Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor's preferred)
- Current BCLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to obtain ACLS and PALS certification within 30 days
- Ability to obtain NRP certification within 60 days
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
