Senior Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Critical Care Specialist

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead and perform comprehensive patient respiratory assessments, including breath sounds evaluation, airway management, and ventilation monitoring
• Implement and manage both invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation protocols
• Deliver and monitor therapeutic interventions including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
• Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate respiratory therapy effectiveness
• Collaborate with the healthcare team in emergency response situations
• Manage the safe transportation of ventilator-dependent patients
• Maintain detailed patient care documentation and communicate effectively with the healthcare team

Required Qualifications:

• Current State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
• 5+ years of respiratory therapy experience (acute care, LTAC, or similar settings)
• Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor's preferred)
• Current BCLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
• Ability to obtain ACLS and PALS certification within 30 days
• Ability to obtain NRP certification within 60 days
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
