Cardiac Telemetry Neuro RN - Clinical Nurse Specialist

We're seeking an experienced RN to provide exceptional patient care for our cardiac and neurological patients in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive patient care for cardiac and neurological conditions, including post-CAB surgery, MI cases, and chest pain management
• Perform detailed patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement prescribed treatments
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data and neurological vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Provide patient and family education regarding care, recovery, and wellness maintenance
• Document patient care using electronic health records (EHR)

Required Qualifications:

• Current Florida State RN license (or ability to obtain within 90 days if holding compact license)
• Minimum 3 years of recent acute care RN experience with telemetry and cardiac focus
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong background in cardiac and neurological patient care
• Nursing Diploma or ASN (BSN preferred)
• Ability to obtain NIHSS Certification within 30 days of employment
• Excellence in critical thinking and clinical decision-making
