Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) - Leadership Role in Patient Care Excellence

Position Overview

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator leads and coordinates all unit operations while ensuring exceptional patient-centered care delivery. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership skills to drive quality outcomes and foster a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and optimize patient flow through effective admission and discharge management
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and monitor patient care outcomes
  • Foster interdepartmental collaboration to enhance service delivery and patient experience
  • Implement and maintain evidence-based nursing practices and protocols
  • Mentor and develop nursing staff through education and performance management
  • Manage staffing schedules and resource allocation to ensure optimal patient care
  • Oversee inventory management and equipment utilization
  • Champion patient satisfaction initiatives including hourly rounding and service recovery

Required Qualifications

  • BSN from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Active Florida RN License or Multi-State Compact License
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or ARC)
  • Minimum 3 years of acute care nursing experience
  • Strong clinical assessment and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced nursing certifications (CEN, TNCC)
  • Previous charge nurse or leadership experience
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field

Physical Requirements
