Director of Nursing Services - Women's & Children's Health

A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing Services to lead our Women's & Children's Health department. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee clinical operations, ensuring delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care across assigned units
• Develop and implement evidence-based practices to advance patient safety and quality outcomes
• Drive operational excellence through strategic planning, budget management, and resource optimization
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accreditation standards
• Direct patient flow optimization and care coordination initiatives
• Lead interdisciplinary teams and promote effective communication across departments
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient experience and staff engagement
• Collaborate with administrative teams and physicians on service line development
• Manage departmental budgets, including forecasting, monitoring, and variance analysis

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's Degree preferred
• Current RN license in state of practice with active compact license
• BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP, FHM, and RNC-OB certifications preferred
• Minimum 5 years of acute care nursing experience
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in an acute care setting
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and quality metrics
• Demonstrated experience in budget management and operational planning
• Excellence in team leadership and interpersonal communication
