Position Overview
Experience the reward of providing one-on-one patient care in our specialized Labor & Delivery unit, averaging 6-8 deliveries monthly. Work alongside a supportive leadership team, including our dedicated Director and CNO, in a collaborative, family-centered environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum period
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal well-being
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Assist in cesarean and vaginal deliveries
- Provide patient education and emotional support
- Document care using electronic medical records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Current state RN license or pending licensure
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
