Clinical Nurse Manager - Labor & Delivery Unit

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of healthcare professionals while ensuring exceptional patient-centered care
- Drive clinical excellence through implementation of evidence-based practices and quality improvements
- Oversee daily unit operations, including staffing, patient flow, and resource management
- Monitor and enhance clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and departmental performance metrics
- Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration and care coordination
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accreditation standards
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient experience and satisfaction
- Manage unit budget and resource allocation effectively
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Current RN license in state of practice or active compact license
- 3-5+ years of progressive clinical experience in Labor & Delivery
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in an acute care setting
- BLS certification required
- Specialty certification (RNC-OB) required within 6 months of hire
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration
- ACLS certification
- NRP certification
- Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
- Previous experience with quality improvement initiatives
