Clinical Nurse Manager - Labor & Delivery Unit

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of healthcare professionals while ensuring exceptional patient-centered care
• Drive clinical excellence through implementation of evidence-based practices and quality improvements
• Oversee daily unit operations, including staffing, patient flow, and resource management
• Monitor and enhance clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and departmental performance metrics
• Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration and care coordination
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accreditation standards
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient experience and satisfaction
• Manage unit budget and resource allocation effectively
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current RN license in state of practice or active compact license
• 3-5+ years of progressive clinical experience in Labor & Delivery
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in an acute care setting
• BLS certification required
• Specialty certification (RNC-OB) required within 6 months of hire
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration
• ACLS certification
• NRP certification
• Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
• Previous experience with quality improvement initiatives
