Clinical Emergency Department Nurse Manager - Night Shift

Position Overview

As the ED Nurse Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensure clinical excellence, and foster a culture of patient-centered care. This leadership role combines clinical expertise with operational management to drive quality outcomes and maintain the highest standards of emergency medicine.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing emergency department team during night shift operations
• Drive implementation of evidence-based clinical practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure optimal patient care delivery
• Oversee patient flow and throughput to maximize department efficiency
• Monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient experience and satisfaction
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
• Lead performance improvement initiatives and quality measures
• Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
• Recent Emergency Department leadership experience
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification (must obtain within 90 days of hire)
• PALS certification (must obtain within 60 months of hire)
• Strong clinical background in emergency medicine
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
