Director of Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) - Healthcare Leadership Role

A leading healthcare organization seeks an experienced Director of Infection Prevention & Control to lead our comprehensive infection prevention program. Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the hospital-wide Infection Prevention Program
• Develop and implement evidence-based infection prevention strategies and protocols
• Direct surveillance activities and analyze healthcare-associated infection (HAI) data
• Chair the Infection Prevention Committee and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Design and deliver infection prevention education programs for healthcare staff
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (CDC, CMS, Joint Commission, OSHA)
• Establish and maintain policies for infection control and prevention measures
• Lead quality improvement initiatives related to infection prevention

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field (Master's degree preferred)
• Current CIC (Certification in Infection Prevention and Control) certification
• Active RN license or equivalent healthcare professional license
• 5+ years of hands-on infection prevention experience
• 5+ years of clinical experience in an acute care setting
• 2+ years of leadership or management experience
• Strong knowledge of epidemiology and evidence-based infection prevention practices
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
