Clinical Hospital Pharmacist - Full-Time

Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical pharmacy services and medication therapy management in both pharmacy and patient care areas
- Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication safety
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards
- Manage inventory control and contribute to department financial objectives
- Implement evidence-based clinical protocols and best practices
- Participate in clinical rounds and patient care planning
- Handle hazardous medications following safety protocols and USP standards
Required Qualifications:
- PharmD degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
- Virginia State Board of Pharmacy license required within 90 days of hire
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency (PGY1)
- Prior hospital pharmacy experience
- Experience with electronic health record systems
