Medical Director of Behavioral Health & Addiction Services

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide executive medical leadership for all behavioral health and addiction treatment programs
- Direct clinical operations and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and CARF standards
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and program development for integrated behavioral healthcare
- Oversee and mentor a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants
- Develop innovative treatment protocols that address whole-person care
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with hospitals and community healthcare providers
- Drive the integration of physical and behavioral health services across all programs
- Create and implement fellowship programs with partner institutions
- Ensure clinical excellence and regulatory compliance in all medical services
Required Qualifications:
- MD/DO degree with current Washington State medical license and prescriptive authority
- Board certification in Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, or related specialty
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in behavioral health/addiction medicine
- Proven track record in program development and quality improvement
- Experience with CCBHC models and integrated healthcare delivery
- Strong clinical background in treating complex co-occurring disorders
- Excellence in team leadership and interprofessional collaboration
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities
