Medical Director of Behavioral Health & Addiction Services

Join a leading healthcare organization as our Medical Director of Behavioral Health & Addiction Services. In this executive leadership role, you'll guide our integrated behavioral health programs while working alongside our senior management team to shape the future of patient care. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide executive medical leadership for all behavioral health and addiction treatment programs
  • Direct clinical operations and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and CARF standards
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and program development for integrated behavioral healthcare
  • Oversee and mentor a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants
  • Develop innovative treatment protocols that address whole-person care
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with hospitals and community healthcare providers
  • Drive the integration of physical and behavioral health services across all programs
  • Create and implement fellowship programs with partner institutions
  • Ensure clinical excellence and regulatory compliance in all medical services

Required Qualifications:

  • MD/DO degree with current Washington State medical license and prescriptive authority
  • Board certification in Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, or related specialty
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in behavioral health/addiction medicine
  • Proven track record in program development and quality improvement
  • Experience with CCBHC models and integrated healthcare delivery
  • Strong clinical background in treating complex co-occurring disorders
  • Excellence in team leadership and interprofessional collaboration
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities
