Position Overview
As a valued member of our rehabilitation team, you'll work alongside licensed Physical Therapists to provide high-quality therapeutic services and contribute to optimal patient outcomes in our modern outpatient facility.
Essential Responsibilities
- Implement prescribed treatment plans and therapeutic interventions under PT supervision
- Perform patient assessments including ROM, strength testing, and gait analysis
- Administer therapeutic modalities including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and manual therapy
- Provide therapeutic exercise instruction and progress patients through rehabilitation protocols
- Conduct gait training and balance exercises
- Create and demonstrate home exercise programs
- Maintain detailed electronic health records and progress documentation
- Participate in interdisciplinary team collaboration for comprehensive patient care
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program
- Current state PTA license or eligible for licensure
- Strong clinical reasoning and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in electronic documentation systems
