Facilities Maintenance Supervisor - Healthcare Environment

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to join our healthcare facility. In this leadership role, you will oversee a team of Maintenance Mechanics while ensuring the optimal operation of our medical facility's critical systems and equipment. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and healing environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance professionals in a healthcare setting
• Manage preventive maintenance programs for critical hospital systems including HVAC, medical gases, electrical, and plumbing
• Oversee compliance with TDH, Joint Commission, and other regulatory requirements
• Direct emergency repair responses and facility upgrade projects
• Manage departmental budget and inventory control systems
• Implement energy management initiatives and sustainability programs
• Maintain detailed documentation for regulatory compliance and reporting
• Develop and conduct safety training programs for maintenance staff
• Ensure completion of scheduled maintenance work orders and project deadlines
• Collaborate with various departments to maintain optimal facility operations

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of facilities maintenance experience in healthcare or medical environments
• Associate's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and medical gas systems
• Experience with regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, TDH, OSHA)
• Proven leadership and team management abilities
• Strong project management and budgeting skills
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
• Available for on-call rotation and emergency response
