Director of Infection Prevention & Control | Healthcare Leadership

We're seeking an experienced Director of Infection Prevention & Control to lead our hospital-wide infection prevention initiatives and ensure excellence in patient safety. Position Overview

As the Director of Infection Prevention, you'll lead our comprehensive infection control program, ensuring regulatory compliance while promoting best practices in healthcare-associated infection prevention across our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee hospital-wide infection prevention strategies and protocols
• Lead surveillance, analysis, and reporting of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs)
• Chair the Infection Prevention Committee and coordinate interdepartmental infection control initiatives
• Design and implement staff education programs on infection prevention best practices
• Establish and maintain policies ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Monitor quality metrics and develop action plans for continuous improvement
• Collaborate with leadership to integrate infection prevention into organizational strategy

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare-related field (Master's preferred)
• Current CIC (Certification in Infection Prevention and Control)
• 5+ years of clinical experience with specialized focus in infection prevention
• 2+ years of leadership experience in healthcare setting
• Active RN license or equivalent healthcare professional license where applicable
• Strong knowledge of CDC guidelines, OSHA standards, and Joint Commission requirements
