Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic Imaging Professional

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities including CR, DR, and PACS systems
• Conduct thorough patient assessments before, during, and after procedures following departmental protocols
• Administer IV contrast media and perform related clinical procedures with precision and care
• Ensure radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles are strictly followed
• Contribute to the department's educational mission by training students and staff members
• Maintain detailed patient records and documentation in PACS and hospital information systems
• Create a compassionate and safe environment for patients and their families

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• Current ARRT registration or registry-eligible status
• Active American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider certification
• Strong knowledge of radiation protection and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in diagnostic radiography
• Additional modality certifications
• Experience with digital imaging systems and PACS
