Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Paramedic - Advanced Life Support Specialist

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Paramedic to join our emergency medical services team. In this critical role, you'll provide advanced life support care and emergency medical treatment in both pre-hospital and transport settings, working under physician oversight to deliver exceptional patient care in high-stakes situations.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver advanced life support care and emergency medical interventions in 911 response scenarios
• Perform critical medical procedures including intubation, IV administration, medication management, and cardiac monitoring
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and implement appropriate treatment protocols
• Operate advanced life support equipment including cardiac monitors, defibrillators, and ventilators
• Provide clear, detailed documentation of patient care and maintain accurate medical records
• Collaborate effectively with emergency room staff, law enforcement, and other first responders
• Maintain emergency vehicles, equipment, and medical supplies
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

• Current Virginia State Paramedic Certification
• National Registry Paramedic (NRP) certification preferred
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and EVOC
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred)
• Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to perform essential job functions
