Clinical Nurse Leader (RN-II) - Acute Care

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate comprehensive patient care through effective nursing processes, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, and evaluation
• Serve as Charge Nurse, providing clinical leadership and care coordination for assigned patient populations
• Implement and monitor quality/safety initiatives while maintaining professional nursing standards
• Direct and mentor healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Develop and deliver patient/family education programs
• Participate in performance improvement activities and unit-based initiatives
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation and reporting

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license or eligibility for licensure in Virginia
• Associates Degree in Nursing (RN Diploma, ASN, or ADN)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Specialty certification in relevant clinical area
• Previous charge nurse experience
