Senior Healthcare Facilities Manager & Safety Officer
We're seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee our healthcare facility's operations, safety protocols, and environmental compliance. This key leadership role combines facilities management expertise with critical safety oversight, ensuring our facility maintains the highest standards of care and operational excellence.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead facility operations, preventative maintenance programs, and emergency repair responses
- Serve as primary Safety Officer, managing Environment of Care (EOC) compliance
- Coordinate construction and renovation projects across multiple facilities
- Oversee utility management and life safety systems
- Manage engineering staff and maintain equipment maintenance schedules
- Direct physical plant maintenance and satellite facility operations
- Develop and implement emergency preparedness protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives for safety and facility operations
- Supervise landscaping and property development projects
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years experience in healthcare engineering environment
- 3+ years supervisory experience in facilities management
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements (Joint Commission, OSHA, EPA)
- Proven track record in project management and team leadership
