Position Overview
As Hospice Executive Director, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality hospice care while maintaining regulatory compliance and fostering organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily hospice operations and provide strategic leadership to ensure organizational success
- Ensure compliance with Medicare/Medicaid regulations and all applicable healthcare laws
- Develop and implement organizational goals, policies, and quality improvement initiatives
- Oversee financial performance, including budget management and revenue optimization
- Lead talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare partners and community stakeholders
- Monitor and optimize patient census, staffing levels, and operational metrics
- Ensure delivery of compassionate, high-quality patient care services
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field
- 5+ years of leadership experience in healthcare setting
- 3+ years of hospice or home health experience
- Current healthcare licensure (RN, LCSW, or MD) or equivalent experience
- Proven track record in business development and organizational growth
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
