Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist - Cardiovascular Services
Join our dynamic cardiovascular team as a Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist in sunny Florida. We're seeking an experienced professional to support our growing electrophysiology lab in delivering exceptional patient care through advanced cardiac procedures and diagnostics.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain sophisticated EP lab equipment and monitoring systems
- Assist physicians during complex cardiac electrophysiology procedures
- Prepare sterile field and equipment for procedures
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care EP Tech experience
- Associate Degree in related healthcare field
- Current Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification OR
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) with Florida State Registration
- Ability to obtain ACLS certification within 90 days of hire
- Ability to obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
