Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Level 1 Trauma Center

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform rapid patient assessment, triage, and implementation of emergency care protocols
• Coordinate and deliver critical nursing interventions in high-acuity situations
• Manage multiple trauma cases simultaneously while maintaining exceptional patient care standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and comprehensively using electronic medical records
• Provide detailed discharge instructions and coordinate follow-up care
• Mentor newer staff members and contribute to a positive team environment

Required Qualifications:

• Current Florida RN license or multi-state compact license
• Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience (ED, ICU, or PCU)
• Paramedic experience highly valued
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Required Certifications:

• ACLS certification (within 90 days of hire)
• BLS certification (within 30 days of hire)
• PALS certification (within 90 days of hire)
• ENPC certification (within 6 months of hire)
• TNCC certification (within 6 months of hire)
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification (within 6 months of hire)
