Senior Radiologic Technologist - CT Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic medical imaging team. In this role, you'll provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging services while working with state-of-the-art equipment in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Position Overview

As a Senior Radiologic Technologist, you'll perform diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities, specializing in CT scanning, while ensuring exceptional patient care and maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiography, fluoroscopy, and portable radiography examinations for diverse patient populations
• Operate and maintain CT scan equipment with precise attention to detail
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and exposure techniques
• Maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and quality control procedures
• Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatric patients

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current ARRT(R) certification
• ARRT(CT) certification required within 2 years of hire
• Valid Virginia State License
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Comprehensive knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Proficiency with medical imaging software and computer systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
