Senior Radiologic Technologist - CT Specialist
We're seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic medical imaging team. In this role, you'll provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging services while working with state-of-the-art equipment in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Position Overview
As a Senior Radiologic Technologist, you'll perform diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities, specializing in CT scanning, while ensuring exceptional patient care and maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiography, fluoroscopy, and portable radiography examinations for diverse patient populations
- Operate and maintain CT scan equipment with precise attention to detail
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and exposure techniques
- Maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and quality control procedures
- Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatric patients
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current ARRT(R) certification
- ARRT(CT) certification required within 2 years of hire
- Valid Virginia State License
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Comprehensive knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency with medical imaging software and computer systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
