Surgical Technologist (Certified ST/CST) - Operating Room

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate surgical counts and manage surgical instrumentation

• Prepare operating room with appropriate supplies and equipment
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Assist in training new team members and students

Qualifications:

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association
• VA Department of Health Professions registration required
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Military surgical technology training accepted with appropriate credentials
